Frank Ocean might have caused controversy before the release of his debut album Channel Orange, but the headlines weren’t enough to put his album on top. That honor went to the Zac Brown Band whose third album Uncaged gave them their best sales to date with 234,000 copies. Channel Orange came in second with 131,000 copies.
Rolling Stone cover boy Justin Bieber’s Believe came in third with 45,000 copies. The album has been certified gold, with sales exceeding 604,000. Fortune, Christ Brown’s latest album, fell to fourth place and added 45,000 copies to its total which is now 177,000. The album experienced a steep 65% drop in its second week. Maroon 5 rounded off the top five with Overexposed, which sold another 44,000 copies for a total of 334,000.
