Elton John Refers to Madonna as a ‘Fairground Stripper’

Well, Elton John and Madonna are two pop stars that won’t be on each other’s Christmas card list this year.

In an interview with Australia’s Channel 7, John reignited his long-standing feud with the Material Girl by unleashing a series of harsh insults apparently sparked by Madonna’s mistreatment of John’s friend Lady Gaga, who is the godmother to his son Zachary.

“Why is she such a nightmare? Her career is over, I can tell you that. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn’t happen to a bigger [expletive].”

John continued on his tirade, even praising Madge for her past body of work. “If Madonna had any common sense, she would have made a record like Ray of Light, stayed away from the dance stuff, and just been a great pop singer and made great pop records, which she does brilliantly.”

He also referred to the pop singer as a “fairground stripper.”

Madonna’s MDNA tour has come under fire recently for her crazy onstage antics including flashing her nipple in Istanbul and projecting an image of a swastika over the head of National Front political leader Marine Le Pen in a video at her concert in France.
