Green Day to Play ‘Dookie’ in Full at Reading Festival

In news that will please a plethora of punk personalities, Green Day have confirmed that they will indeed be playing at this weekend’s Reading festival. Not only that, the trio will also be playing their seminal 1994 album Dookie in full.

Billie Joe Armstrong wrote a not-so-cryptic tweet to break the news, saying:

“Hello England! What rhymes with shredding??!!”

In related news, the band will be embarking on a U.K. tour next year that kicks off on Saturday 1st June at London’s Emirates Stadium, with more dates to follow.

Green Day’s latest album, ¡Uno! – a first of a trio – will be released on Monday 24th September (Europe).
