Above, you can listen to Muse’s new track “Unsustainable” from their upcoming release The 2nd Law. This was the track included in the album trailer a while back that got everyone in a tizzy, but honestly, when listening to the track it simply sounds like a continuation of the kinds of guitar effects Bellamy was recording back in 2005. It’s still far too early for conjecture, however it seems kind of hard not to note that there isn’t really a clear atmosphere making itself apparent in the two songs released thus far on the album. We’ll get a better picture of the album’s consistency on August 20th when the band release the album’s second single, “Madness”.
