The Afghan Whigs Announce New Year’s Eve Show in Cincinnati

The Afghan Whigs

As we reported a few weeks back, The Afghan Whigs are inching closer to kicking off their first tour in 13 years.  Already having sold out nearly half of the dates, each respective night of the tour is one of the hottest tickets around.  Now, Dulli, McCollum, and Curley are tacking one more date onto the itinerary for good measure: a New Year’s Eve gig at Bogart’s in the band’s hometown of Cincinnati.

The New Year’s Eve show will be the band’s second trip to Bogart’s on the tour, and it will be a can’t miss performance for all the Midwestern and hometown Afghan Whigs fans that have been counting the days until this reunion.

Besides what should be a massive New Year’s Eve rock and roll blowout, the tour will commence at All Tomorrow’s Parties’ “I’ll Be Your Mirror” Festival (co-curated by Dulli) in Asbury Park, NJ and will finish up in Los Angeles on Nov. 10.

As a friendly reminder, tune in to Jimmy Kimmel Live (on ABC at midnight EST/9 p.m. PST) tonight to see The Afghan Whigs performing live and back in untouchable form.
