Morrissey and his band hit Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night with a towering rendition of Frankie Valli’s 1967 hit “To Give (The Reason I Live).” With his trademark operatic style, elegance, and the support of his crackerjack rock and roll band, Moz brought down the house in customary fashion. In addition to the Frankie Valli cover, Morrissey and his band performed “You Have Killed Me” for an exclusive web video.
Between having an extensive, new tour on the horizon, delivering the goods on Fallon, and sacrificing a moment to be a genuine Good Samaritan, Morrissey’s past week in New York has proven to be an eventful one. As always, it’s good to have Moz front-and-center, giving us reason to cheer.
