The 2018 National Invitation Tournament tips off March 13 and 14 with the first games of the round of 32, and culminates with the NIT Championship game on March 29 in Madison Square Garden in NY.

With the win the Fighting Irish move on to next Saturday's Big Ten Tournament Championship game where they will face the victor of the Ohio State vs. MI game while Penn State will await a possible at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament during the selection show next Sunday.

The Nittany Lions and Owls will square off either Tuesday of Wednesday in the Bryce Jordan Center.

The field is made up of the 32 best teams that failed to make the 2018 NCAA Tournament; the bracket was revealed after the NCAA Tournament Selection Show.
