The Indian Premier League 2018 (IPL 2018) matches scheduled to be held at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai will be moved out of the city following protests over Cauvery water row, ANI reported.

That match did not pass without incident with a group of fans throwing shoes at Super Kings players on the boundary.

Four alternative locations - Visakhapatnam, Thiruvananthapuram, Pune and Rajkot - have been identified, he added.

Chennai Super Kings were playing on their home ground for the first time in 2 years.

However, Sam Billings with the help of Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo managed to win another exciting game for their side as the CSK who is returning after a two year forced hiatus, made two wins out of two.

The organisers have a few days to put arrangements in place as CSK play their next home game on April 20 against Rajasthan Royals. "CSK is not averse to shifting base to Pune", IPL Chairman Rajv Shukla said. On Monday, the city police deployed about 4,000 personnel to keep the situation under control during CSK's first home game against Kolkata Knight Riders.

And he said his decision had little to do with politics, predicting the GOP will hold the House in November no matter what. Ryan is explaining his decision to not seek re-election as one that was the best for his family.

Russian Federation and Syria blame Israel for deadly attack on Syria airbase
Monday's aerial attack struck an Iranian drone section of Syria's T4 base, which was under exclusive Iranian command, he said. Syrian state media had earlier reported dead and wounded in the strike, without giving casualty figures.

Pirates-Cubs-Snow Delay
They were 48-33 last season and that was the worst of it, especially having gone 57-24 the year before and 49-32 in 2015. The Cubs tried pushing back Monday's scheduled start time by an hour, but snow fell steadily for most of the morning.

On Tuesday, CSK skipper MS Dhoni was in a euphoric mood after his CSK pulled off another epic run chase in the 11 edition of IPL.

He said when the entire state of Tamil Nadu was on an agitation mode for its rights on the Cauvery issue, an IPL fixture, which was an entertainment event, was not needed.

Film stars and politicians earlier came out and suggested that no IPL matches should be played in Chennai.

On February 16, the court had ordered the Central government to set up the CMB and Cauvery Water Regulation Committee (CWRC) within six weeks. Security around the stadium was heightened ahead of the match and supporters were not allowed to take mobile phones or any other electronic devices inside the Chepauk. Naam Tamizhar leader and film personality Seeman, film-maker Bharathirajaa and scores of activists were taken into custody by police, who had a tough time managing the surging number of protesters.

Bravo and Jadeja then creamed sixes in Vinay Kumar's final over - Jadeja's match-winning one sailing over long-on - as Chennai made it back-to-back wins to kick off the IPL.
