The comic book and movie powerhouse has released 10 pictures to EW in the U.S., which includes glimpses of Larson as the Marvel Cinematic Universe's strongest superhero, Jude Law as her mentor Mar-Vell, Ben Mendelsohn as the villainous Talos and a two-eyed, de-aged Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. However, it certainly appears that the massive success of Warner Bros.' Wonder Woman has put to rest any idea that superheroine-led films are inherently box office poison.
"Captain Marvel" will lead the cover of the next issue of Entertainment Weekly, which will include an exclusive first look at the intergalactic hero. Nonetheless, it can't be denied that it has taken Marvel a long time to get to this point, which is a fact Feige is cognizant of.
