Nine of the 10 Democratic members of the Senate Judiciary Committee sent a letter on Monday to FBI director Christopher Wray and White House counsel Don McGahn listing 24 people who they said should be interviewed by the FBI, and urged that the investigation assess all three allegations of sexual misconduct.
There's been a lot of commotion about Brett Kavanaugh's drinking habits recently - and a newly uncovered police report indicates that authorities questioned him once about his connection to a bar fight in 1985. After the man responded in kind, Kavanaugh threw a beer in his face, said Charles Ludington, a former Yale basketball player who's now a history professor at North Carolina State University. Kavanaugh was questioned by police after the incident, and did not say whether or not he threw ice.
The report referred to the altercation, which occurred at a bar called Demery's, as "an assault".
Chad Ludington, a former classmate of Kavanaugh's, has said Kavanaugh did not tell the truth about his drinking in his testimony Thursday to the Senate Judiciary Committee. Parts of the incident are corroborated by a police report.
Kavanaugh also denied the sexual assault allegation from Christine Blasey Ford, a 51-year-old research psychologist who alleged that a "stumbling drunk" Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed and groped her at a house party when the two were in high school in the 1980s.
"I like beer, I still like beer, ' Mr Kavanaugh testified under oath".

A newly obtained unredacted version of the report states Dudley "was transported to Union Ave detention facility by prisoner conveyance." and a large "A" on the report indicates Dudley was arrested, according to New Haven's police chief Anthony Campbell. Well, it sounds like you've not lived a life quite as interesting as US Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, then.
The man noticed Ludington, Kavanaugh and the others looking at him and - according to Ludington - aggressively asked them to stop. For the fact is, at Yale, and I can speak to no other times, Brett was a frequent drinker, and a heavy drinker.
"Brett was getting tapped in and he was incredibly drunk, in a ridiculous outfit and had to come up to me and sing a silly song", she said.
"They've been trying to destroy him", Trump said.
Earlier in the week, Swisher gave an interview to the Washington Post, after Kavanaugh denied that he drank excessively. "I don't know what Brett was doing exactly, but I was pulling Chris back and someone else was pulling the other guy back", Ludington said.
