'That Was Quite Something': Kanye West's Bizarre White House Speech

It's Thursday and if you need some hard-hitting news right now, here is your daily dose of insane, courtesy of American rapper Kanye West, who met with President Trump at the White House, earlier today. "He might not have thought he'd have a insane motherf**ker like (me)".

Hogan Gidley, White House deputy press secretary, said the president would host a "working lunch in the private dining room off the Oval Office" with West and Brown.

West asked Trump to pardon Larry Hoover, the alleged founder of a notorious Chicago street gang who's serving six life sentences in a federal supermax prison in Colorado.

He told Fox News on Thursday that he believes West has boosted his standing with African-Americans, although he offered no evidence.

"I brought a GIF with me right here", West said in the Oval Office on Thursday during a meeting as he turned his phone over to the president.

Added West: "If he don't look good, we don't look good".

"People expect that if you're Black, you have to be Democrat", West said, rejecting the "control of people through the concept of racism". He also revealed he had been diagnosed - wrongly, he said - with bipolar disorder. "We'll get rid of Air Force One", Trump responded.

I watched the whole thing because, again, how could you not?

Senate near Kavanaugh approval after epic struggle
Murkowski said she'd use an obscure procedure that lets one senator offset the absence of another without affecting the outcome. Vice President Mike Pence planned to be available Saturday in case his tie-breaking vote was needed, which now seems unlikely.

"It was from the soul, I just channeled it", Mr. West said. "We want a brand over our own land". Law enforcement authorities caught him giving orders to associates when they would visit him in jail.

"We kill each other more than police officers".

"I love Hillary", he said, "I love everyone, right?"

"We don't have the reparations but we have the 13th Amendment", he said of the amendment that abolished slavery in 1865. Oh that don't stop me.

Talking at speed on everything from Trump's protectionist trade polices to black gun crime and "infinite amounts of universe", Kanye left the normally talkative president nearly speechless with his performance.

West launched into his 10-minute soliloquy that touched on his decision to wear the MAGA hat on the set of "Saturday Night Live", his bi-polar diagnosis and being part of the extended Kardashian family.

West warned reporters that he doesn't answer questions in sound bites. You are tasting a fine wine.' WTF! News. But it seems like both Trump and West veered more than slightly off-topic.

The trio spoke about prison reform and guns with Kanye saying: "The problem is illegal guns. Not legal guns".
