Far from being torn up over the incident, the buyer of a work by street artist Banksy - that was partially shredded moments after it was sold - has gone through with the purchase.
Sotheby's said it will display the work Saturday and Sunday from noon until 5 p.m.in London.
Auction house Sotheby's said that they were "Banksy-ed" when a canvas of Girl With Balloon self-destructed the second it sold for £1.04 million on Friday night.
Sotheby's has described the painting as a "framed work, spray paint and acrylic on canvas", and notes that it's "the first time in auction history that a work of art automatically shredded itself".

Despite going through the shredder, art experts believe that Banksy may have actually increased the value of the iconic work.
The painting sold for £860,000 but with the buyer's premium on the painting, the price shot up to £1.04million.
BanksyAccording to Wikipedia: "Banksy is an anonymous England-based street artist, vandal, political activist, and film director. His satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine dark humour with graffiti executed in a distinctive stenciling technique".
Artcurial will shortly auction three Banksy paintings, along with a resin-crafted figure of a rat holding a paintbrush signed by the artist. In 2006, he released an inflatable doll dressed as a Guantánamo Bay prisoner at Disneyland in California.
The angle from which the man was filming could also correspond to the angle used in Banksy's video version of events.
