The "Donnie Darko" star just joined Instagram and this was his first post.
Jake confirmed in a video that he will be playing the classic Marvel villain Mysterio in the upcoming movie Spider-Man Far From Home.

The title of this issue in particular is 'The Return of the Man Called Mysterio!' and Jake suddenly realises his role in the next Sony/Marvel collaboration. The actor teases fans over realising that he's not playing Spider-Man, while reading a comic with Mysterio on the cover (and another such cover is framed on the wall behind him). However, the actor and the studio behind the upcoming superhero film have been mum on the topic.
Spider-Man creators, Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, introduced Mysterio in the comics in 1964.
