UFC 232 moved from Vegas to LA after Jones' test results

UFC 232 will be moved from Las Vegas to The Forum in Inglewood, California, after a trace amount of the banned substance turinabol was discovered in a drug test administered to Jon Jones on December 9.

USADA officials then stated that due to the minuscule amount of Turinabol in his system that Jones' test could have only been caused by a residual effect from the original introduction of the drug into his body a year ago.

Cormier, who has been heavily critical of Jones' abuse of performance-enhancing drugs throughout their historic rivalry, took to social media to criticize not only Jones but the others involved in the process that forced the event to be moved on just six-days notice.

That second post on his page was enough for Jones to finally pay attention and reply.

The news was announced on SportsCenter by UFC president Dana White, according to ESPN.

Jon Jones once again tested positive for banned substance Turinabol but his light heavyweight championship fight with Alexander Gustafsson will push through after the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) found the circumstances excusable. "I'm not going to move a whole f***ing event to Los Angeles because we need Jon Jones to fight on Saturday because money, or we need ... none of that s**t". So, I believe that Jon Jones is clean.

Decision made for 'significant' troop withdrawal from Afghanistan
These and other questions about the Trump decision and its broader implications were on the minds of many in Congress. The idea of pulling back from Afghanistan drew a sharp rebuke from Republicans and Democrats on Capitol Hill.

China says detention of Canadian involves employment issue
A Canadian lawmaker said Wednesday that the case involved visa irregularities for an Alberta woman who had been teaching in China. Canadians who study or do business in China may want to lie low and keep a low profile, she said. "One detention is bad enough".

White House closer to partial shutdown with wall demand
The president would consider other options and the administration was looking at ways to find the money elsewhere, Sanders said. Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer have made it clear they are not interested in funding Trump's border wall.

Conor McGregor's training partner and Bellator fighter Dillon Danis, who was infamously involved in the recent UFC 229 brawl in Las Vegas, labelled Jones "A juice head". And while some have been quick to argue that LA isn't that far, when you consider the money it would take to get to and from LA plus the inconvenience of it all, it becomes more of a hard thing to pull off.

Jones himself took to Twitter to defend himself, saying: 'I'm focused on achieving my ultimate goal of reclaiming my Light Heavyweight title.

"Now we all understand why u didn't take the [VADA] test", Alexander Gustafsson said to Jon Jones.

Although there's a lot of skepticism surrounding Jones" latest doping incident, White is adamant he's "innocent' of any wrongdoing.

The VADA testing was a suggestion made the California commission as Jones' previous hearing as a way to further vindicate him from any wrongdoing. "He's in fight shape, and I believe that he's been doing the right thing".
