Finally, a Bears-Vikings finale in Minnesota with meaning

The Vikings are 18-6 in the regular season and postseason at U.S. Bank Stadium, and the Bears haven't won in Minnesota since that final game on the 2011 schedule. Despite it sidelining Mitch Trubisky for two games, the Bears quarterback says he doesn't dwell on the past, and definitely won't be thinking about it heading into Sunday's game.

The NFL arranged the schedule to minimize the anticlimactic outcomes, moving the Bears-Vikings game to the late-afternoon slot so it would be played simultaneously with Eagles-Redskins, Cardinals-Seahawks and 49ers-Rams. White only played because Allen Robinson missed the game with sore ribs, rookie Anthony Miller left the game in the first quarter with a shoulder injury and Taylor Gabriel - who caught four passes for 61 yards - also got hurt.

However, in the fourth, after Foles exited with a chest injury and No. 3 QB Nate Sudfeld came in to hand off, they kept going with Adams, who responded with some nice runs that set up a short, safe toss to Nelson Agholor that Agholor took the rest of the way for a touchdown.

Punter Matt Wile helped keep field position from being a problem for the Vikings early on in the game.

Remember that nasty hit by Vikings' safety, Harrison Smith? Done in by three-and-outs on their first four possessions, the Vikings finished with only 164 total yards.

Meghan Markle's Christmas Day look was all from Victoria Beckham's line
The Duchesses of Cambridge and Sussex have been dogged by rumours they aren't bosom buddies for months. Many had brought bouquets of flowers or had got in the Christmas spirit by wearing Santa hats.

But Trubisky was exceptional when it mattered most; Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins wasn't. The Vikings have devoted resources to their offensive line in recent years, they need to do so again if this offense is to improve next season.

Each week it gets harder to figure out this Eagles running back corps and what the future might hold for the three youngsters in this group. When he caught the team's only touchdown of the game in the third quarter, it was his 100 reception of the season. His niche in Bears history remains the answer to the trivia question: Who was Ryan Pace's first draft pick as general manager? One bad penalty call (see below) led to a second touchdown for the Bears and with their tough defense the Vikings offense struggled to get back into it.

Up next for the Bears are the Eagles at Soldier Field in the wildcard round. They checked the boxes for winning on the road that they needed to check.

"Our team feeds off the crowd and what they bring", Cousins said.

It felt like a home game for the Eagles. But it now owns the sixth seed in the NFC entering its regular season finale against Chicago, the NFC North champions.
