Five teenage girls die trapped in Escape Room after fire breaks out

FIVE teenagers have died in an horrific blaze at an Escape Room game site in Poland. Earlier, firefighters blamed faulty electric wiring and substandard security procedures.

The cause of the deadly fire has not yet been determined.

The condition of the injured man is now unknown.

Gasiorowski said the fire probably broke out in the reception room and blocked the employee's way to evacuate the girls.

Firefighter chief Leszek Suski says the escape room at a private house in the city of Koszalin where the girls died had no emergency evacuation route.

Spokesman for regional firefighters, Tomasz Kubiak, said the bodies were found in a room that was near the fire but was not hit by it.

Investigators launched an inquiry into the cause of the fire as Interior Minister Joachim Brudzinski Brudzinski ordered fire safety controls in all escape rooms.
