Alexa on over 100 mln devices shipped so far

Amazon has revealed a new figure for its Alexa voice-assistant: the company says that more than 100m devices with Alexa pre-installed have been sold. Since then, Google and a variety of other companies have announced Assistant-powered smart speakers, headphones, watches, Smart Displays, and more. Samsung's own voice assistant software, Bixby, will co-exist with support for Amazon and Google's competitors; Bixby is built into Samsung TV remotes. Amazon has done well with its two-year head start in the market.
