Arians is a two-time Associated Press NFL Coach of the Year.

Bear in mind that Arians did have two hospital stays during his time as head coach of the Cardinals. "There's three keys to winning in this league: Ownership, general manager, head coach combination".

- The Bruce Arians era has begun in Tampa Bay, or Tampa BAy, as he's called it.

The Buccaneers are finalizing a deal to make Bruce Arians their next head coach according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. None of them have previous head coaching experience.

Despite setting franchise single-season records for points, total yards, passing yards and touchdown passes, Tampa Bay lost 11 of 14 following a surprising 2-0 start with upset victories over New Orleans and defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia.

Denver Broncos go with Vic Fangio as head coach
Despite the experience and accolades, Fangio had hardly been considered as a head coach prior to January. The gig is Fangio's first as head coach after 19 years of serving as a defensive coordinator in the NFL.

Phillies to have face-to-face meeting with Harper
It will be interesting to see whether or not the Sox land him, knowing that they have also been "all-in" on Harper as well. Meanwhile, according to NBC Sports Philadelphia , the Nationals are not the only team pursuing Harper seriously.

The 66-year-old Arians will not call offensive plays for the team, instead handing that responsibility to offensive coordinator/pass-game coordinator Byron Leftwich.

Now, Arians and Leftwich will try to work their magic with the Bucs, who certainly have some talented playmakers to work with on offense.

A new coaching staff's goal: seeing if Jameis Winston is the quarterback the Bucs can build around as he enters the fifth and final season of his rookie contract.

Arians, however, reminded Eisen that he's known the embattled Bucs quarterback since he was in high school, when Winston attended one of Arians' football camps, and suggested his Buccaneers team will be centered on the former Florida State star.

But Winston, who's 21-33 as a starter and only led the team to one winning season in four years, has not been a bust.
