Sub-Pop Records will be re-issuing the Platinum Certified BleNirvana pack shotach on November 3, 2009, making it 20 years since the original album was released in June of 1989.

The CD includes two discs and a never-before-released live performance from 1990 of the band at the Pine Street Theatre in Portland.

The 20th Anniversary Edition of Bleach has been digitally remastered from the original tapes at Sterling Sound, which by the way resulted in a total production cost at the time of a mere $600.  Accompanying the CD/double-LP is a 52-page CD/16-page LP booklet full of rarely seen photos of the band.

Universal is also issuing a DVD of another Nirvana concert, “Nirvana: Live at Reading.”  This show was at one point voted #1 in Kerrang! magazine’s “100 Gigs that Shook the World.”
