Patty Griffin to Release New Album, ‘Downtown Church’

Patty Griffin is set to release a new album on January 26, 2010 called Downtown Church. The singer/songwriter touches on gospel tones on her new record, which was recorded in the Downtown Presbyterian Church in Nashville. Griffin invited guest artists to be a part of the new album, including Shawn Colvin, Emmylou Harris, Buddy Miller, and Raul Malo.
The album is available for pre-order at amazon.com. Patty Griffin will be going on tour in support of the album with Buddy Miller. There will also be a brand new website at PattyGriffin.com.
