In and effort to raise awareness of water conservation, the water towers of New York City will be covered in murals by notable artists. Led by the non-profit group Word Above the Street, in Spring 2013 selected rooftop tanks across the five buroughs of NYC will be turned into works of art by noted musicians like Jay-Z, Coldpay and Dave Matthews.
