Fame Rocks Fashion Week Event 2012

The New York Fame and Music Unites Foundation will present its 2nd annual Fashion Week event for one night only this February. The event celebrates New York Fashion Week and hosts upcoming designers and musical artists. The gala will take place on February 15th at the Manhattan Center Studios (West 34th Street ) in New York City. Red carpet arrivals start at 4pm followed by a VIP Gala Reception that lasts until 6pm. Always sort of snarling now when someone introduces a new band to me as ‘Brooklyn-based,’ Snowmine is one that I went back to check out because, honestly, I liked their name. Snowmine is five guys who seem to be not-for-the-sake-of-it indie. Their bio uses the term ‘soundscape’ to describe their music, and it’s one I would choose, too.
