Salina @ Arlene’s Grocery Friday + Free Download

Salinaarlenes

Salina Sias has a voice that is soothing and smooth. She creates mood and dynamic particularly naturally, weaving stories on top of melodies that rise and flow with careful words. If her self-titled, 10-track debut record (released September 2011 on Eclectic Muse) is any indication, a tastefully crafted show at Arlene’s this Friday is one [...]

My M.O. @ Lit Lounge tonight

MyMO-jessjackson

NYC’s own My M.O. brings their quirky and unique style of genre blending and dreamy vibes to Lit Lounge tonight. A little birdie told me that the female fronted quartet will be breaking out something extra for this one – something to fuel those Friday night dance inspirations. It’s also rumored that new tunes are [...]

What NYC Has In Store, Post-NYE

Gigantour2012

New York City is doing it up this year, and any concert-lover would be happy with the lineup of shows to kick start 2012. Lenny Kravitz is coming to Radio City Music Hall with Raphael Saadiq on January 28th, and tickets are still available. If Kravitz isn’t your thing, Kelly Clarkson is bringing female empowerment [...]
