Britney Spears is coming to the X Factor y'all. The singer was reportedly offered $10 mil to become a judge on the second season of reality show. Many wondered who Cowell would choose to sit at the judge's table after he and the producers fired judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger earlier this year. There were also rumors that Janet Jackson and Avril Lavigne were both being considered for a spot on the show as well. Simon Cowell to Launch Talent Show for DJs

Simon Cowell, the man behind American Idol, and X-Factor, will soon launch a similar talent show for DJs. "DJs are the new rock stars. It feels like the right time to make this show," he said in a statement. Cowell didn't disclose any specifics about the show, or what format would be used to select the contestants. X Factor Contestant Has a Serious Breakdown!

WTH?!? I don't think I've ever seen someone breakdown like that. On this week's X Factor the final vote on who would stay or leave fell on former Pussycat Nicole Scherzinger. She had to cast her vote to eliminate either Rachael Crow or Marcus Canty. Pulling a Paula Abdul, Nicole couldn't bring herself to vote and the audience sent Crow home. Smells Like Teen Spirit to be Re-released for Christmas

Universal have announced that they will be re-releasing Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', in the hope that it will help land the song the Christmas number one spot.
