Cobra Starship Generates Buzz With New Album And Album Art

Electro-pop band Cobra Starship is gearing up for the release of their newest album Night Shades, released by Fueled By Ramen/Decaydance Records.

The album is due out in four days (August 30th) and the band has put their iTunes session up which includes “Don’t Blame The World It’s The DJ’s Fault”, “The Scene Is Dead, Long Live The Scene”, “Fold Your Hands Child”, “Hot Mess”, and “You’re Not In On The Joke”,  is available for download.

The catchy thing about this album (besides club-centered, feel-good pop music) is the album artwork. The cover features bright colors and a stiletto vs. sunglasses face-off (you can check it out below). Gabe Saporta (lead vocalist) gave a little fun fact and let fans in on who the foot belonged to–Guitarist Ryland Blackinton’s girlfriend, Kristen.

It was all for a good cause since the album–and the album art–is sure to be a hit.
