At 19-years-old, Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain, was recently featured in a series of photographs taken by Hedi Slimane, fashion designer and photographer.
The photographs show off Frances’ many interesting tattoos, her cigarette smoking ways, and the fact that she likes to hang out near chain-link fences and messy bedspreads. In all seriousness, the photographs are obviously meant to show Frances as a beautiful adult with her own unique personality separate from that of her famous parents.
Frances is also an artist in her own right—having held a gallery show of her drawings last December at L.A.’s La Luz De Jesus Gallery. Whatever you might think of her artwork or photographs, Frances Bean Cobain is now an adult, which makes a lot of us feel old.
