The legendary tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves has been be re-worked into an epic adventure of medieval proportions. Starring Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth, Snow White and the Huntsman promises to thrill audiences with loads of action when it hits theaters on June 1, 2012.
Now known as the ‘grown-up’ version of the classic tale, Snow White and the Huntsman is a story of an evil queen (Theron) out to destroy Snow White (Stewart) because she’s the only person in the land fairer. The film takes on a new twist when the queen sends a huntsman (Hemsworth) to kill the girl and take her heart so the queen can live forever.
Producer Joe Roth, also the producer of Alice in Wonderland, brings his vision to the film which is directed by Rupert Sanders.
The film also stars Ian McShane, Nick Frost, Ray Winstone, Toby Jones, Bob Hoskins, Johnny Harris, Brian Gleeson and Eddie Marsan as the seven dwarfs Beith, Nion, Gort, Coll, Muir, Quert, Gus and Duir. Sam Claflin plays the part of Prince Charming.
