Last year British rock icon Adam Ant announced that he would release a new solo album in 2012. This will be the first new album from the rocker in over 15 years. According to NME, the forthcoming album titled Adam Ant is the Blueblack Hussar in Marrying the Gunner’s Daughter will feature Ant’s longtime song-writing partner Marco Pirroni, as well as former 3 Colours Red guitarist Chris McCormack, and possibly an ex-Oasis member.
Ant has also announced a string of 2012 tour dates in support of the album, including a number of North American stops. The North American leg will kick off February 2nd in Los Angeles.
