The Devil Inside finally ended Mission Impossible 4’s reign at the box office this past weekend.

But not only that, the exorcist-themed film grossed an estimated $34.5 million dollars, making it one of the biggest openers in January.

MI4 followed behind with $20.5 million, which is still very good news for Tom Cruise and company. Overall, the action picture has netted almost half a billion dollars in revenue.

While Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy failed to score major award recognition this past week, it still was a hot ticket with the people raking in $5.8 million at 800 theaters.
