Zooey Deschanel has filed or divorce from Ben Gibbard. As previously reported, the two separated in November 2011.
The indie actress and singer filed the divorce documents in L.A. County Superior Court on December 27, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, according to TMZ.
The New Girl actress, 31, and the Death Cab for Cutie singer, 35, were married in 2009.
