Dave Grohl to Produce New Comedy for FX

Foo Fighter’s frontman Dave Grohl has signed on has executive producer for a new comedy on FX. The show, written and  starring comedian Dan Gould, is about a rock band on the verge of stardom that enlist the help of a therapist to keep the band from breaking up. Unfortunately, they end up with a misanthropic couple’s therapist from Agoura on the brink of divorce.

Gould is a fan of Grohl, who has a reputation of being one of the funniest musicians around, and asked him to be involved in the project.

Gould previously starred in the 2010 ABC pilot Nolan Knows Best. He is currently writing feature Moon People for Sony with Mosaic producing.
