Halle Berry Asks Judge to Allow Her to Move to France with Her Daughter

Halle Berry wants out of the United States, and she’s asked a judge to sign off on a move to France with her daughter Nahla.

According to TMZ, Halle fears for her safety, as well as the safety of her daughter, and she’s wants to move to France to live with her fiance Oliver Martinez. But Berry just can’t pick up and leave with her 3-year daughter without permission from the courts. Especially with her ex-boyfriend and Nahla’s father, Gabriel Aubry, blocking the move.

Last week Robert Hoskins, a mentally unstable fan who’s made several threats against Halle’s life, escaped from a mental institution, and another stalker, who was caught trespassing on her property multiple times, has just been released from jail. Berry is citing these reasons in her petition to the court.

Halle has been in the middle of a bitter custody battle with Aubry for months now. The actress was in court last week asking a judge to strip Aubry of his visitation rights after he was accused of assaulting Nahla’s nanny. The judge ordered both parties into counseling. The charges against Aubry are still pending.
