In a recent interview with FUSE TV at SXSW 2012, buzzing Harlem rapper ASAP Rocky clarified a few rumors about him that have been circulating the blogosphere.
A few blogs have been declaring that his major label debut album will be titled A$AP Rocky Forever. This is apparently false, as Rocky stated that the album’s title is Long.Live.A$AP and will be released in July, following the release of a compilation album with his crew A$AP MOB in May.
Rocky also put to rest all the speculation around his much talked about absence in the controversial XXL Freshman List, which showcased the best current up and coming rappers. He went on to say that the situation did not work out because he was touring at the time, so there is no bad blood between him and XXL magazine.
However, Rocky had some choice words for some of the rappers on the list:
Personally, I’ma speak my mind. I think a lot of the motherf***ers on the list is corny as f***. But um, shout outs to Danny Brown.
When asked to speak on his rumored girlfriend Iggy Azalea, who was voted by the public to join the list, the rapper declined to comment.
ASAP Rocky’s critically acclaimed mixtape Live.Love.A$AP is currently available for free download.
