Fiona Apple’s forthcoming, long-awaited follow-up to 2005′s Extraordinary Machine is entitled, The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do.
No, we didn’t make that up. The 23-word title is actually a poem and still a lot shorter than 84-word title given to 1999′s When the Pawn… and so forth.
The album is set for release sometime in June via Epic.
Fiona announced earlier this month that she’d be performing at a SXSW showcase and last week the singer/songwriter has announced a handful of tour dates, as well as a headline date at this year’s Governor Ball.
