Grandaddy Reunite For U.K. Festival Show

Grandaddy

California-based space rockers, Grandaddy, will be reuniting after a six year hiatus to headline the U.K.’s End of the Road festival.

No statement has been forthcoming from the band as yet, but it is believed that this will not be the only date for the American quintet.

Grandaddy split in January 2006 due to “financial reasons”, which preceded the group’s fourth studio album, Just Like the Fambly Cat, in May of the same year. Their last release was a 2011 re-issue of critically acclaimed second album, The Sophtware Slump, which gave the group their first U.K. top 40 hit upon its initial drop in May 2000.
