Imogen Heap will release a new song on April 22nd, and her fourth solo studio album in September 2012. The as yet untitled Heapsong will be released as part of Earth Day. Heap will perform the song live at an event held in the grounds of her elliptical home. It will be filmed and broadcast live on Facebook by FANetwork TV. The film will then become the live, one-take promo video for the song.
In celebration of Earth Day the performance will be powered “off the grid” with the best available energy mix they have been able to source locally, including friends and fans on bicycles, who will be powering the lights.
