Newcastle indie outfit, Maximo Park, unveiled the first single from their new album The National Health last night on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show.
Titled ‘Hips and Lips’, the song has a different vibe to album title track ‘The National Health‘ but showcases the band’s overall sound pretty well to newcomers.

In related news, Paul Smith and co. will be touring the U.K. in June. The dates are as follows:

The quintet will also be playing at the Luften Mouson Arts Music Festival in Frankfurt, Germany on Sunday 24th June.
