Peter Gabriel aims for a more sophisticated sound with his new two-CD set entitled ‘Live Blood’.
Live Blood, recorded last March at London’s Hammersmith Apollo, consists of massive arrangements featuring the 46-piece New Blood Orchestra. These grand orchestrations make for a smooth transition in sync with Gabriel’s unique vocals.
Peter Gabriel classics such as “In Your Eyes,” “Rhythm of the Heart,” and “Biko,” are re-vamped with a classical twist, all the while keeping his original sound intact.
‘Live Blood’ is set to be released via Eagle Rock Entertainment on April 24th, but you can stream the entire album now courtesy of Rolling Stone.
