Stream The Cribs New Album ‘In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull’

All hail the return of the Cribs! Or just write grandiose sentences like that with a face of stone because you know that if you let yourself express that happy an emotion it probably wouldn’t be cool. Either way, the Wakefield trio are returning with their fifth album, and you, yes that’s right you, get to stream the album in full. Monday’s aren’t always gloomy, hey?

The band have returned as a trio this time, having both recorded and toured 2009′s Ignore the Ignorant with legendary guitarist Johnny Marr of the Smiths. Released in the UK today, and in the US on 15th May, the record has already received high praise from the critics. The album features fourteen tracks, produced by two of the industries veterans, Steve Albini and Flaming Lip/Mercury Rev producer Dave Fridmann.

The band closed yesterday’s Camden Crawl Festival in London, in what the NME described as a “triumphant day with a crowd-pleasing slot”. The band have also announced tour dates in support of the new LP, including dates in the UK and North America. The band will be playing:
