If ever an atheist needed complete proof that there is indeed no God, along comes this horrifying news – Avril Lavigne and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger are to record an album together and release it later this year.
Boss of Epic Records, LA Reid, confirmed when speaking to Billboard that:
”We’re in the mixing process now and I expect to release it very soon. I’d like to get it out this year, but time seems to be flying. If we don’t, it will be top of the new year.”
However, this is not the first time that Lavigne has recorded an album with a partner of hers. 2011 release, Goodbye Lullaby was made in collaboration with Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley – the two were married from 2006 to 2009.
Lavigne and Kroeger have been together for six months, announcing their engagement at the beginning of September.
