M. Ward has released a new video for A Wasteland Companion single “Me and My Shadow.” If a Bieber storyline is the last thing you would expect from this Monster of Folk, then gear up for a curveball. The clip follows a faux-Bieber who is rescued by a smitten fan in the face of the pop star’s monstrous, middle-parted manager with laser beam eyes. A Conan O’Brien cameo helps adds to an entertaining video that brings the lyrics of “Me and My Shadow” to life, all the while M. Ward delivers his signature croon with some dazzling guitar freakouts.
