Myles Kennedy took to his MySpace blog to update his fans on the status on his solo project and AB 3.
“I have been locked away working on my record. There don’t seem to be enough hours in the day to get everything done. It’s been an amazing experience. I’m working with some great people. I’ll go into more detail at a later date.”
Kennedy goes on to talk about working with Slash on the famed guitarist upcoming solo album.”Speaking of great experiences, as some of you know, I recently had the opportunity to write a song and record with Slash. To say it was an honor would be an understatement. Especially considering that his body of work has been integral in my musical evolution.”
There has been plenty of speculation regarding the future of Alter Bridge with the other three AB members currently on tour with Creed, but according to the Alter Bridge frontman the band is currently working on a new album. “The day after I finish tracking my record, I will fly to Florida to finish AB 3″, writes Kennedy
The last Alter Bridge album, “Blackbird” was released in October 2007.
