fergie1300The onetime Guns N’ Roses guitarist, Slash has recently replaced Axl with Fergie to rework the classic “Paradise City.”  Slash teamed up with the Black Eyed Peas singer and Cypress Hill and released the Fergie-version of the song in Japan as a B-side to his upcoming part-solo album, Slash and Friends.  The album is due out in March 2010.

The ex-GNR guitarist has been getting a lot of flak for his decision to use Fergie on the new version of “Paradise City.” But, he won’t apologize for his decision, stating in a Tweet that “She sings it better than most dudes I know. She’s a screamer at heart.”
