Passion Pit Wins “Act Of The Year” & “Song Of The Year” In 2009 Boston Music Awards

It’s been an exciting year for Passion Pit.

This year alone the electronic band from Boston has played in front massive crowds at Bonnaroo, and the iTunes Festival, and last night they took home two awards at the Boston Music Awards. The band won in two major categories, Act of the Year and Song of the Year for “The Reeling“. They’re also nominated in the 2009 SPIN Year End Readers Poll for “Best New Artist.”

Passion Pit is currently on tour but will make a quick stop to perform on Jimmy Kimmel, Tuesday, December 8th. Come January the band will be touring throughout Australia and New Zealand and will be performing on the mainstage at one of the biggest music festivals in the world, Big Day Out festival.
