Sigur Ros Singer Announces Details on Debut Solo Album; Free MP3 Available Now

Sigur Ros singer, Jon Thor Birgisson, otherwise known as Jonsi, has announced details of his first solo album, entitled Go.  The album will be released on March 22 2010 under the name Jonsi, and will feature collaborations with Nico Muhly, the protege of Phillip Glass. The recordings were done in both Iceland and Connecticut and co-produeced by Jonsi, Alex Somers, and Peter Katis.
Jonsi is currently giving away an MP3 of one of the tracks, ‘Boy Lilikoi’ on his website.  A world tour will follow the album’s release.
