Red Hot Chili Peppers Have New Guitarist?

Rumors are spreading that John Frusciante has left the Red Hot Chili Peppers, as reported by Musicradar.com. The source of this information appears to be someone close to the band. The replacement for Frusciante is thought to be Josh Klinghoffer, who has toured with the band in the past.

*Update* We contacted the pr rep for RHCP and he wouldn’t confirm nor deny that Frusciante had left the band. We were instead told that they had “no comment at this time”. We will update you as we continue to get more information.
