Roadrunner Records Partners With Playstation to Release ‘God of War’ Digital EP: Dream Theatre, Killswitch Engage, Trivium

Roadrunner Records just announced that it will partner with Sony Playsation for a digital EP release for Sony’s popular video game, God of War III.  The EP is titled God Of War: Blood & Metal and will be released two weeks before the game becomes available on March 2nd.  Five previously unreleased songs, recorded exclusively for this release, from five Roadrunner artists are included on this compilation.  The contributing artists are Killswitch Engage, Dream Theatre, Taking Dawn, Trivium, and Opeth.

The God of War: Blood & Metal EP will also be included as part of the God of War III Ultimate Edition when it becomes available in March.  When you purchase this package, a voucher code to download the five tracks will be included.  A special code to download a director’s cut of God of War: Unearthing the Legend, a movie documentary about the history of the God of War franchise, will also be included as part of  the package.
