The Entrance Band Announces U.S.Winter Tour with Lights

The Entrance Band is setting off on their own headlining tour after opening for Sonic Youth and Nebula in 2009. Last year marked the release of their first self-titled album from Ecstatic Peace Records, the record label started by Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth.
This trio of singer/guitarist Guy Blakeslee, drummer Derek James, and bassist Paz Lenchantin; spins around the fabric of the stoner rock genre with a patchwork of punk, wispy blues, Hendrix laced psychedelia and psychic allure. Guy Blakeslee plays in unabashed waves of psychedelic jams interwoven with Paz Lenchantin low end, fuzzed bass runs, and Derek James bluesy tempos. Paz Lenchantin was in the original incarnation of the band, A Perfect Circle featuring Tool’s frontman Maynard James Keenan.
