December 4, 2009
Are you an up and coming artist or band that wants to grow your fanbase? Do you feel that you have what it takes to be featured on The Silver Tongue? Well unfortunately we can’t be everywhere so we’re giving you a chance to promote yourself.
And just how do you do that? Good question.
Send us a video, no longer than 10 minutes in length. Start off by introducing yourself and then give us some details, such as band members and the type of music you play. Tell the TST readers why they should be checking you out and what sets you apart from all the other bands/artist around the world. Perform a little ditty and don’t forget to state your website address, Myspace, Facebook…whatever medium you use to stay in touch with your fans.
When you’re done upload the video to Youtube or Vimeo and email a link to the video to editor{@}thesilvertongueonline.com. EVERY video will be added to the site, but the best video for that particular week will be featured in the ‘Featured Video’ section on the homepage. It’s that simple.
See ya in the movies!

CD Review: Liam Finn & Eliza-Jane, “Champagne In Seashells”
October 30, 2009
On the new EP Champagne In Seashells, New Zealander Liam Finn has again created a fresh and cutting-edge collection of songs. For the follow-up to his 2008 debut, the critically acclaimed I’ll Be Lightning, Finn shares billing with his singing partner Eliza-Jane Barnes. For those familiar with Lightning, Finn has most assuredly evolved into a more mature and deliberate songwriter.
Masquerade’s 20th Anniversary Show
September 26, 2009
Last night’s show at the Masquerade began with a long chord played by Stand Alone, a five-piece progressive rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. They played loud and hard, switching between melody-heavy hard rock ballads and lyric-intensive nu-metal ramblings.
